Downtown Toledo's historic Peacock Cafe hosts weekly Thursday evening JAZZ COLLECTIVE

Jazz Collective’s goal is to bring notable jazz artists and engaged audience members together. By creating a warm and inviting atmosphere within a storied, historic venue, the Jazz Collective will allow attendees to experience the authentic inspirational musical communication that jazz and improvisation creates.

The Peacock Cafe is located in downtown Toledo on Toledo’s “Avenue of the Arts” at 2007 Monroe Street, approximately four blocks east of the Toledo Museum of Art. All performances will begin at 7:00 pm.

Upcoming featured artists include:
● April 6th – Cliff Monear, pianist
● April 13 – Charles Green, pianist
● April 20 – Ray Parker, bassist
● April 27 – Chris Buzzelli, guitarist

There is no cover charge for these performances.

Jazz Collective performances are curated by renowned jazz drummer Andre Wright. Andre is a life-long Toledoan who has shared the stage with jazz luminaries such as Kurt Elling, Delfayo Marsalis, Jon Hendricks, Geri Allen, and Marcus Belgrave. Andre is a strong advocate for the jazz art form in the Toledo community. He has been instrumental in bringing jazz legends such as McCoy Tyner and Benny Golson, as well as jazz contemporaries Dan Wilson, Dwight Adams, and Vincent Chandler, to perform on stages in Toledo.

The Peacock Cafe, established in 1937, has a rich legacy of presenting live music in Toledo. The Cafe features a full range of your favorite cocktails, served by an attentive staff.
